On the hill, close to the coast and villages
Colle Il Diaccino is near Bivio di Caldana in the Maremma. Access is via Via Aurelia Vecchia; eight shaded parking spaces and additional unshaded spaces are available on the grounds.

What to know before enquiring
Some details depend on your accommodation, the season and your group. We clearly mark these as matters to agree personally.
Booking & stays
How do I book accommodation?
Send us your preferred dates, number of guests and accommodation through the enquiry form. We reply personally with availability and the relevant conditions. Direct booking and payment through the website are not available.
What are the costs and payment terms?
Prices are provided only on request in a personal offer for your chosen accommodation and dates. Final cleaning is mandatory for every stay; its cost is listed in the offer. A deposit of 25% of the quoted total is required to secure the reservation.
Can the entire estate be rented?
Yes. All six homes can be requested together for the exclusive use of groups of up to 32 overnight guests.
Are retreats or private celebrations possible?
Retreats, birthdays, anniversaries and small weddings are possible with exclusive rental by individual arrangement. Event services, catering, equipment and additional day guests are not automatically included.
Can I combine a stay with remote work?
Yes. The peaceful setting and Wi-Fi in every home suit stays that include work, whether alone, as a couple or in a small team. Tell us in your enquiry if you would like to use one home or the entire estate for remote working.
When are check-in and check-out?On request
We will agree these details with you personally to suit your stay. Please include your wishes in the enquiry.
Is there a minimum stay?
The minimum stay is three nights.
Facilities & essentials
Which shared facilities are available?
The estate includes a 6 × 12 metre swimming pool, sports court, table tennis, a children’s play area and eight shaded parking spaces plus additional unshaded spaces.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available in every home, including for stays that involve remote work.
Is there air conditioning?
No. The homes do not have air conditioning.
Are bed linen and towels provided?On request
We will agree these details with you personally to suit your stay. Please include your wishes in the enquiry.
Are laundry facilities available?
Montepescali and Tirli each have their own washing machine. Shared laundry facilities are available for the other homes.
Are a cot and high chair available?
Yes. A cot and high chair can be provided in any home on request. They do not count towards the stated guest capacity.
Rules & accessibility
Are pets allowed?
Pets are generally welcome, but must be agreed with us before booking.
Is smoking allowed in the homes?
No. Smoking is not permitted inside any accommodation or other indoor space.
When is the pool open?
The pool is seasonal until spring 2027; we will agree the exact period of use with you before booking. From spring 2027, a heat pump makes it usable all year.
Are the homes accessible without steps?
No, they are not step-free. Five homes are on the ground floor and Vetulonia is on the first floor; all entrances have steps, and Vetulonia has additional steps to the mezzanine. Describe your needs in the enquiry so we can help you choose suitable accommodation.
